Summer Commencement

Faculty members who wish to be a part of the academic processional at summer commencement on Sunday, August 24, should notify their college or regional campus dean by Friday, August 15.

All faculty are required to wear appropriate academic regalia in the processional. Caps and gowns may be ordered at University Bookstores. The deadline to do so for summer commencement is Friday, August 15.

On commencement day, faculty registered to march in the processional should assemble by 12:45 p.m. in cap and gown in the west concourse of the Schottenstein Center (entry level) between sections 110/110 and 111/111, directly across from the southwest lobby.

As a courtesy to all graduates, we ask that all participating faculty remain for the entire ceremony. There will be a faculty recessional at the conclusion of the ceremony.

Faculty who are planning to hood a Ph.D. candidate during the ceremony should also contact the Graduate School at 292-6031 for further assembly and hooding instructions.
